Inspired by the success of Olight’s popular S1 Baton pocket flashlights, the H2R Nova Rechargeable Headlamp features a brilliant 2300-lumen maximum output and a versatile design that permits the light to be used as a handheld flashlight or an area lamp. The battery never needs replacing — simply snap the USB cable onto the magnetic charging port and wait for the indicator light to turn green.
The H2R Nova’s neutral white Cree cool white XHP50 LED shines at six brightness settings, from moonlight to turbo. Its aluminum alloy housing is durable but lightweight — the lamp weighs just over 2 ounces, not counting the included 18650 battery that supplies its power. Runtimes range from the one-minute burst of the 2300-lumen turbo to 45 days at the 1-lumen moonlight setting. With a color temperature of 5500-6500K, the cool white light is bright and produces sharply defined contrast. There’s a lockout feature that prevents the light from being accidentally activated in your pocket or bag, and the light has an SOS mode that can signal distress for up to six hours. The light is designed to come on and off gradually to help preserve your night-acclimated vision.
The lamp can be removed from its housing and used as a flashlight with a right-angle beam. The tailcap of the light is magnetized so you can hang it on any metal surface, such as the inside of a car hood, when a stationary hands-free light source is preferable to the headlamp. Attach the pocket clip and you have a compact and highly capable everyday carry flashlight. The H2R Nova can stand up to the weather, too; it’s rated IPX8 waterproof, capable of being submerged 6.6 feet deep, as well as impact-resistant to 5 feet. A magnetic insert helps secure the map on the headband while opening or closing the silicone attachment straps; if you find you don’t need the magnet it can be removed and replaced with an included EVA foam pad.

Here at Olight, we believe in our products.
If your Olight product has any defect as the result of the materials or workmanship we want to make it right!
Within 30 days of purchase: Return the product to the retailer you purchased it from and they will replace or repair it. Period.
Within 5 years of purchase: Return the product to Olight and we will repair or replace it as long as the light is not working because of factory defects. This does not include obvious user wear or extreme damage.
After 5 years of purchase: Return the product to Olight and we will repair or replace it. We will assess the fees involved and will let you know once we receive it.
The Omni-Dok is also under Olight’s 5 year warranty.
Of course, this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. IF YOUR LIGHT HAS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE AND IT IS SENT TO US, WE WILL SEND IT BACK TO YOU. This warranty also does NOT cover modifications, misuse, disintegrations, negligence, accidents, improper maintenance, or repair by anyone other than an Authorized retailer or Olight itself. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS. Please note that the warranty process may take 3-4 weeks to get it back to you.
