Compact and versatile, the yellow Nitecore LA30 Bi-Fuel Portable Camping Lantern will come in handy for more than just camping. You’ll be glad you have it if the power goes out or you need to change a tire after dark, and its red light is great for activities like astronomy where you need light but don’t want to disrupt your night-adjusted vision. It fits easily in a pocket, backpack, glove compartment or kitchen drawer, and can be recharged via USB or powered by two widely available AA batteries.
The LA30 offers low, medium and high white-light brightness settings, a high/low flashing-beacon and SOS signal red light settings. It has a hanging hook and a magnetic base, so you can position it just about anywhere you need it. Its eight LEDs produce white light with a color rendering index (CRI) of more than 90, meaning a color resembling sunlight that reduces eye strain and renders colors accurately. All brightness levels and modes are easy accessible by pressing the single push-button switch.
Complementing the light’s performance is a lightweight and durable polycarbonate housing, and a translucent diffuser that evenly distributes the light to produce a consistent glow throughout the surface. The lantern is IP66-rated to be dustproof and water-resistant, and impact-resistant to 1m.

Warranty
We provide warranty for our products for a period of up to 5 years. Within the period covered under warranty, we will repair or replace any Nitecore product that has ceased to function properly. Please refer to table below for warranty periods for different products. Warranty is applicable only to products and accessories listed.
Limited lifetime warranty: Upon expiration of their respective warranty periods, all Nitecore products will receive continuing support through our limited lifetime warranty. The limited lifetime warranty covers labor costs and maintenance with the exclusion of accessories or replacement parts.
Nitecore will replace malfunction products with an upgraded model in the same series or one that of similar performance for customers if replacement can’t be made within due time when certain products are discontinued or for other reasons.
Warranty Details
Our authorized dealers and distributors are responsible for warranty service. Should any problem covered under warranty occurs, customers can contact their dealers or distributors in regards to their warranty claims, as long as the product was purchased from an authorized dealer or distributor.
NITECORE’s Warranty is provided only for products purchased from an authorized source. This applies to all NITECORE products.
Unauthorised third party repair and modification voids NITECORE’s warranty.
NITECORE’s warranty service is rendered NULL AND VOID if
- Failure or damage caused by artificial destruction, unauthorized modification or reconstruction.
- Failure or damage caused by improper use, storage or maintenance (for details please refer to the user manual)
- Damage caused by battery leakage.
- Damage caused by improper maintenance
- Ordinary wear and tear/colour fading
